Description

Electromagnetic fire door retainers allow fire doors to be legally held open.

The DRX range is ideal for applications where maximum protection is needed against vandalism or accidental damage. Floor mounting also allows install when the fire door is not near a wall.

When connected into a fire alarm system, power to the electromagnet is removed when the alarm is active; closing the fire door via it’s standard mechanism.

All door retainers are supplied as standard with the flexible keeper plate. However, for applications where the door does not reach the wall, the chain keeper comes with 1 metre of chain to facilitate a wider range of mounting options.

Transformer Rectifier Power Supply For 24VDC Door Retainers

Features

  • Powers a range of 24VDC door retainers and field devices from 230VAC supply
  • Automatic cut off when no power is supplied, fail-safe design results in fire door closing
  • Green LED indicating mains voltage present
  • Amber LED indicating fault condition

Description

Cranford offer a 2 Amp and 4 Amp power supply unit to assist with the installation of 24VDC door retainers.

The units contain an internal relay allowing fire doors to be closed upon actuation of an external contact or supply of 24VDC.

Additional 12VDC and 24VDC power supplies are available upon request.
